The gear shifter on a CFMoto 800MT / Ibex 800 plays a big part in rideability. When equipped with a quickshifter it’s easy to perform fast shifts on the go, but also easy to accidentally bump with your foot.

This guide shows how to adjust the lever to suit your riding style:

  1. Remove the shield (one bolt already shown removed).
  2. Access the gear shifter linkage.
  3. The adjusting bolts are marked with green paint (from factory setup).
  4. Loosen the inner bolt at both ends.
  5. Spin the bar to lengthen/shorten it; this adjusts the resting height.
