Step-by-Step Guide: Motorcycle Clutch Arm Replacement
Replace the clutch arm and base to reduce lever effort ("one finger clutch"). Based on the KTM 790 Adventure hardware shared with the CFMoto 800MT / Ibex 800.
Remove the existing arms
Mark where the original equipment was aligned before removal.

Install the new arm and base
Using the original install locations as a guide, loosely fit the new arm and base.

Adjust and Test
- Mark original alignment
- Remove base and arm; disconnect cable
- Install replacement arm and base loosely; adjust
- Tighten with clutch spring preloaded to correct position
- Test ride and fine-tune adjustments
Adjust the base and arm position, then test ride to verify clutch feel.
